Try this Siren’s Bath Ritual: For connecting yourself to your inner lover.
We’re going to connect with our seductive, magnetic Siren energy by working with the element of water, which rules the sign of Cancer, the season we are moving into.
Prepare your bath in a way that honors all of your senses.
Make sure the water is the perfect temperature.
Add bubbles, if you can, to arouse your sense of touch, or flower petals.
Use essential oils (lavender and ylang ylang are great options – alone or together) to excite your sense of smell.
Light candles to create a beautiful tableau on which your eyes can linger.
Play your favorite soft music.
And don’t forget to bring a treat for your tongue – a cup of tea, perhaps, or a glass of champagne. Nothing like “bubbles” to put us in the mood for lavishment.
Before you get into the bath, take a moment to brush out your hair, stimulating your scalp, and distributing your natural oils throughout your hair, which will keep it soft and silky.
If you have a dry brush, use it on your skin before getting into the water to remove dead skin cells and awaken your body.
Once you are in the bath, give yourself a massage.
Use your favorite body oil on your hands, then imagine a gentle, golden-pink light emanating from your hands, an energy of love. Feel it seep into your body as you work. Start with your feet, then work up your legs. Don’t forget your arms, shoulders, and neck.
Finally, place a bit of oil on your heart chakra and another on the top of your head, your 7th chakra, to symbolize your openness to the loving energy of the Mer Realms.
Lie back in the water, hands on your heart, as you visualize sunset-colored golden-pink light flowing through you from the heavens and into your body. Imagine it infusing the water with its gentle glow, surrounding you in a perfect embrace of love and pleasure. This light will activate your Sacral chakra energy and connect this with the pulse of your Heart chakra.
Whisper this prayer:
Seductive Sirens of the Deep, hear my call
Fill me with your love
Teach me to feel the love that surrounds me every day
From the wind that caresses me to the sun that warms me
Teach me to feel whole and held within this love
Teach me to extend it to others
But most of all, teach me to love myself
Let yourself remain in the bath for as long as you like, continuing to envision that golden pink light pouring into your body and infusing the water around you.
When you feel you are done, thank the Sirens before you drain the bathtub, while imagining yourself made new again by the water.
Don’t have a bathtub?
You can simply get in the shower or anoint yourself with your essential oil or salt water, and whisper the Siren’s Prayer.
Creamy Rose Moon Milk
8 oz. unsweetened almond milk (or your preferred plant milk)
2 tsp. dried rose petals
¼ tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. powdered ashwagandha (optional)
2 Tbsp. tart cherry juice (optional)
1 tsp. honey (add more as needed)
Add milk, rose petals, vanilla extract, and ashwagandha to a small saucepan.
Bring milk mixture to a simmer over medium-low heat. Heat until warmed through.
Remove from heat and cover with lid for 5 minutes to steep.
Strain out rose petals. Add cherry juice.
Stir in honey. Pour into a mug, and enjoy.
Please note: If you use cow’s milk, the cherry juice could curdle it – be sure to only use non-dairy milk, or leave out the cherry juice.
