How can you bring into physical reality that which you desire to manifest when you’re not in your element and your energy is wobbly and unfocused?
When you call in the Divine Goddess energy within you with deep, devotional intent, you heal all those places inside yourself that you have disowned and rejected. With regular ritual and meditation on the Divine Feminine you begin to live your life according to your OWN blueprint … not the one that mom and dad told you was acceptable. Or the one that screams to you from social media and glossy magazines.
False, inauthentic templates for being will never bring you the peace and fulfillment you are seeking. (This is often referred to “faking it til you make it.”)
Aspiring to be perfect won’t either. (Perfect body, teeth, hair, amount of money in the bank, having a shit ton of clients…)
One thing I’ve had to learn over and over again is this …
Perfectionism is the thief of pleasure.
Pleasure is a sacred medicine that deserves respect and a place of primacy in our lives. If we try to fit ourselves into a box of “Acceptable-ness,” you shove pleasure out the door.
Think of Pleasure as sacred, as a deity worthy of worship, love and respect; because if you don’t Pleasure will ignore you and go play with someone else!
We are each on a journey and on different turns of the great karmic wheel. No one is 100% self-actualized at this moment. This life is a gift for each of us to play, experiment, make mistakes and learn to come home to our original essence as a Soul. We will never do anything perfectly. And, that’s not the point anyways.
And, your Shadow always has a voice in all of this. If you can listen to what your darkness is whispering (or yelling) to you about all the unlovable parts of yourself, you give a space for healing and growth. And, that is the point of all of this.
The question I’d love to ask you right now … can you love your shadow as much as you love your light?
All I can say is that I aspire to love myself unconditionally, as well as others, to the best of my ability. To keep my heart open when I’m afraid and want to close off. To inhabit my own skin even when I feel inadequate or compare myself to others.
As we flow towards Autumn Equinox in the NH and Spring Equinox in the SH, we come into an in-between space when the Shadow begins to slip through our cracks of consciousness and become visible.
Scary, painful, triggering thoughts, ideas and visions materialize during this time to test us and help us grow into the divine embodiment of our own essential blueprint. This is what I’m on the planet to help people with.
And, speaking of the planets … there are currently 5 planets in retrograde: Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto and Neptune! Mercury is in its shadow period and will turn retrograde on September 27th.
Engaging with your Shadow is paramount during this season of the year. With the current planetary “assistance” (which feels more like fuckery), plus a Full Moon in Pisces on September 20-21, there is no better time to consciously and courageously LOVE your Shadow.
