So much goodness, I could burst!

Hello, Gorgeous. Hard to believe it’s the last day of January.

It’s so fun to be diving into the new year and feeling excited about the freshness and vitality of new beginnings.

Beware: nasty bugs are going around! I’ve been using this immune-pumping remedy for the past 2 weeks and I’ve been able to fight off the ickies: organic star anise and rose petal/hips tea.

I just bring all the ingredients to a slow boil and put the leftover tea in a jar and refrigerate. I put it in some pomegranate-cranberry juice and drank it cold. Also try adding star anise, cinnamon, clove and cardamon to oatmeal in the morning. Delicious and aromatic. Made to stop the flu in its tracks!

April 8. In-Person Writing Workshop: “Writing Enchantment.” Soul Centered in the Dome, for Ojai Wordfest. 11:30a-1:30p. In this 2-hour writing playshop, you’ll connect deeply with your otherworldly allies and begin to find the story that is unfolding in front of you.

This is about writing yourself into the story you were always meant to star in. This is about seeing your true essence and get a preview of who you are becoming. Write yourself into your desires and into inspired action in your career, personal life and creative projects.

Bring a notebook or journal and pen … you are going to do a lot of writing. Bring a yoga mat and pillow/blanket for movement and meditation. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.

April 26-28. Pacifica Graduate Institute Presents, “The Writer’s Journey.” I present a workshop on Saturday, April 27, “Effective Storytelling In Marketing.”  2:00-3:30p and 4:00-5:30p.

Great marketing begins and ends with great storytelling. Many writers turn away from self-promotion because it smacks so strongly of egocentricity. The truth is that marketing (which is really about storytelling), branding (which is really about personal clarity), and business development (which is really about fulfilling your destiny) are powerful opportunities for healing and self-empowerment for both the author and the audience. Learn how to write meaningfully and effectively for a variety of mediums, including websites, blogs, social media, and electronic newsletters.

There are so many wonderful presenters! Sure to be engaging and soulful! Two of my favorite people are presenting as well. Dennis Patrick Slattery and Lawrence Spann (hubby of the very beautiful and talented Elizabeth Robinson, author of The Soul of the Nurse).

April 30. I’m publicly declaring that the first draft of my book The PLUNGE: 6 Diving Lessons to Unleash Your Supernatural Potential (working title) will be complete and ready for editing. This is the book that lays out my mythological system of working with entrepreneurs and creatives to help them get their message and work out into the world. It’s also all the theory behind my memoir-in-progress. Send me oodles of prayers and good vibes so I can FINISH this and get a lucrative publishing deal. You will all get access to the pdf version too … which will be titled Prosperous Creativity. I met with a literary agent, who may be interested, yippeee! And, she informed me that to get a good publishing deal, best not to release the electronic version of the book under the same title.
