Your head laid upon my chest
My Heart burning underneath
Fingers slowly stroking, feeling the silken river of your hair
Where Love begins is
The Death of illusion.
Your Heart bleeding out unceasingly
Yet your cheeks are rosy
No sign of death coming.
Rather a willing sacrifice
That you welcome with a smile.
Wounded Warrior, I place my hand on your heart
To stop the bleeding,
To heal your pain.
You look into my eyes and say,
“I’m not the only one that needs
healing.”

This is one of those blogs that has taken me a few days to write. With so much brewing in my 12th house (thank you Saturn RX in Aquarius), a lot of material has been surfacing from my unconscious and my every day experiences are reflecting what I may have been denying to myself for some time now.
I wrote the poem “Warriors” in 2016; it emerged spontaneously and it tells the story of how I have danced with the Masculine for most of my life. I’ve looked to the men in my life for validation and approval.
I’ve let them treat me like a Queen and a slave. I’ve vacillated between deep unconditional love, and rage and hatred towards the male species, as I’m sure so many other women have. I know I’m not alone in any of this.
Learning to respond to the panoply of emotions around the masculine and how he shows up in my world, has been a lifelong journey. Often filled with pain and regret. Often I’ve wondered what the answer could be to do the healing necessary so I can at peace within and without. Again, I know I’m not the only woman out there trying to sort this craziness out.
Jungian and Archetypal theory tells us that the men in our lives are the mirrors upon which we project the inner Masculine, for better or for worse. Our relationship with our father and other primary male role models in our lives determine our ability to view the men walking about in the world as lovers or monsters. There is rarely grey area in such a world view – and a lack of empathy to boot.
What I know for sure is that I’m a very well defended fortress.
And this is a painful place to be, even in its peacefulness and safety. It blocks me from trusting so many rich experiences & adventures that I want to have. It blocks my ability to receive divine riches, love, affection, joy and sexual healing.
Are you also that woman, too? I won’t diminish the fact that I’ve had many, many experiences with men that have contributed to building that armor; that have kept it shiny, impenetrable and strong.
The blame and resentment must end if we are to heal and save each other and the planet. There is no other way, except through love. I wish I could say that I have all the answers, but I’m seeking them. Praying for them. Preparing for them. The heart knows all, I truly believe that. When we fervently wish to know something the answer always comes.
In my upcoming 90 day immersion Luminous Goddess Codes© (read a bit more about it below) I’m adding 3 modules where we will encounter and build a deeper relationship to the Sacred Masculine through such divinities as Osiris, Mars/Aries, Vishnu and Shiva. I’m weaving it all into a magical journey that I hope will be illuminating for all who partake. I’m really excited and scared shitless at the same time.
I can feel the potency rising in me to teach this. I move forward in small steps each day to create this work that seems to be my destiny, a gift from the God/dess.
More on this in the weeks, months and years to come. This is just a peek at the tip of a gigantic iceberg. It’s time to open a portal of light so we can begin to write a new story for the union of Divine Feminine & Masculine. A healing narrative for Earth and the Cosmos that we will co-create as we move into the future of humanity.
